The Community Foundation is excited to announce that July 1st marks our move to a new database, which will result in an improved experience for fundholders, donors and grant applicants. This upgraded technology will make it easier than ever to connect with the Foundation, make informed decisions about your charitable giving, and stay up-to-date with your account. So, what are some of the new features?
Get access to your entire history at the Foundation. When logged into the Donor Portal, you will be able to see your fund balance and available spending balance. You will also see a detailed history of contributions and grants since your fund was established.
Easily make contributions and grants online. With just a few clicks you can make a donation to your fund (or any fund) with a credit card and immediately receive a tax acknowledgement receipt via email. You can also make grant recommendations to nonprofit organizations using the online form. Simply choose from a dropdown list of organizations you have granted to in the past or type in a new organization. Your request will be sent to CFNLA staff for review and you will be notified once the grant has been processed.
Get immediate access to receipts and documents. When you make an online donation to the Foundation, whether to your fund, for a membership, or any other reason, you will now receive an immediate tax acknowledgement receipt via email. You will also receive quarterly fund statements via email. Finally, the Donor Portal will allow you to view your current and past fund statements at your convenience.
