Community Foundation of North Louisiana is excited to announce Brandon Brown as the most recent addition to CFNLA’s seven-member Board of Directors. Brown is succeeding longtime board member the Honorable Jerry Edwards, Jr.

Brown brings nearly two decades of legal and leadership experience in federal and state law enforcement, complex investigations, and litigation. Currently a partner at Fisher & Phillips, LLP, Brown advises corporate clients and individuals in state and federal government investigations and white-collar criminal and enforcement matters.

Prior to entering private practice, Brown served as United States Attorney for the Western District of Louisiana, where he oversaw federal criminal and civil investigations across a large region of the state and led a team of attorneys and professional staff. In addition to his legal career, Brown is actively engaged in professional and civic leadership, serving multiple legal and community boards and contributing to continuing legal education and policy initiatives.

Brown holds a Juris Doctor from Southern University Law Center and an MBA from Louisiana Tech University.

CFNLA is thrilled to welcome an experienced community advocate to its Board of Directors. CFNLA’s Board of Directors is made up of seven members who typically serve 10 years (two five-year terms). This group has included mayors, business owners, judges, educators, and community volunteers. Learn more about the Foundation’s Board of Directors at cfnla.org/board.
