In its 12th year, Give For Good, created by Community Foundation of North Louisiana, raised $2,535,735 for over 200 area nonprofits. Give For Good is an annual online giving day inviting everyone to participate in philanthropy and have a hand in transforming our community.

“Give for Good is such a wonderful celebration of our community’s generosity and collaborative spirit,” says CFNLA CEO Kristi Gustavson. “We are honored to provide this opportunity to showcase the vital contributions our local nonprofits make to our community and are so proud of the way that our citizens step up year after year to support this work. Thank you to all the individuals and organizations participating in Give for Good 2025!”

Over $2.53 million was raised through 8,708 gifts from 4,207 donors to support 222 area nonprofits. Since inception, the annual event has now raised nearly $25 million for our community. Donors participating in Give For Good chose from nonprofits who provide services ranging from healthcare to education to the arts. As an extra incentive, all gifts are amplified by the Lagniappe Fund, a bonus pool that matches donations on a pro rata basis.

“Give for Good is the most important philanthropic day of the year,” says Shreveport mayor Tom Arceneaux. “Hundreds of charities participate and benefit from additional contributions from the Lagniappe Fund. I was proud to join with so many others to make my donations during Give for Good.”
