Community Foundation of Lincoln Parish Fund

In 2019, Community Foundation of North Louisiana established the Lincoln Parish Fund for the benefit of the Ruston area and its community members. The goal of this fund is to create a lasting endowment that will support the ongoing and changing needs of Lincoln Parish for generations to come. Grants will be made from the fund to nonprofit organizations, churches, and other eligible charitable organizations as recommended by the Lincoln Parish Advisory Council, which is made up of Ruston community leaders.

Lincoln Parish Emergency Relief Fund

Since the Community Foundation of Lincoln Parish Fund was created, over $125,000 has been granted to organizations assisting in disaster relief related to the April 25, 2019 tornado and those working directly on COVID-19 pandemic relief. The Lincoln Parish Emergency Relief Fund responds directly to the area’s urgent needs, and at this time is focused on Hurricane Laura relief. Grants will be made from the fund to nonprofit organizations, churches, and other eligible charitable organizations as recommended by the Lincoln Parish Advisory Council, which is made up of Ruston community leaders. Grants from this fund will be coordinated with the response of other organizations and local and state government.
