New Year, New Opportunities: Celebrating Community Impact and Looking Ahead to 2025

by | Jan 6, 2025 | News

As we observe the annual ritual of passing from the “old” year into the “new,” we’re given many opportunities and much encouragement to reflect on and celebrate the past year while also making plans for the still-blank slate of 12 months stretching ahead. It’s an exciting time, with ambitious New Year’s Resolutions motivating us to move forward with enthusiasm and purpose. As we all know, keeping resolutions and commitments is harder than it looks, but CFNLA is proud and fortunate to serve a community of philanthropic partners and individual donors who regularly “beat the odds” with an engaged and unwavering commitment to community investment and service.

Thanks to our generous donors, this past year, CFNLA granted over $11 million, including more than $3 million in Competitive Grants awarded for initiatives in Caddo and Bossier Parish. Over 4,300 donors raised $2.94 million for North Louisiana nonprofits through Give for Good. CFNLA has continued to expand its Early Childhood Education Initiative that provides full-tuition scholarships to Type III childcare centers for children whose families would otherwise struggle to afford this crucial developmental opportunity. Since 2019, CFNLA has leveraged nearly $20 million in funding for the ECE Initiative and provided scholarships for more than 1,000 children in our community.

As we begin our collective journey into 2025, we are incredibly grateful to know CFNLA can confidently support our North Louisiana community’s resolutions, plans, and aspirations, bolstered by the expertise and energy of our nonprofit partners and the vision and generosity of our donors. We wish you all a Happy New Year and look forward to what we will accomplish together in 2025! We are, as always, Here for Good.
