by | May 29, 2019 | Press Release

At Community Foundation of North Louisiana’s Annual Meeting in April, Lisa C. Cronin was announced as the newest addition to CFNLA’s seven-member Board of Directors. Lisa is succeeding long-time community volunteer Janie Richardson who served two five-year terms.

Lisa brings a variety of skills and experiences to the table. She is an attorney at the law firm of Cook, Yancey, King & Galloway, where she practices primarily in the areas of insurance defense, commercial and other civil litigation. She received her undergraduate degree from Northeast Louisiana University, where she graduated summa cum laude, and her law degree from Louisiana State University.

In addition to her work as an attorney, Lisa is an active member of the community.  In 2016, she was awarded the Pro Bono Publico award from the Louisiana State Bar Association for providing exceptional pro bono services to Louisiana’s underserved.  She has volunteered at Common Ground Community, Inc., a local nonprofit focusing on improving the lives of children and adults in the Cedar Grove neighborhood, since 2007 and has served as its volunteer chief executive officer for the last ten years.  Lisa is also an adjunct instructor at Centenary College where she has taught commercial law since 2016.

The Community Foundation is thrilled to have Lisa Cronin join its Board of Directors! Learn more about the Foundation’s Board of Directors at cfnla.org/board.
