Join us for Communities In Schools: “The Push” (2nd screening) on Thursday, January 12 at the Shreveport Club (410 Travis Street). “The Push” is an inside look at one of the many inspiring stories being told in thousands of Communities In Schools (CIS) programs across America. The film shows how the power of relationships can transform students’ lives. CIS is the nation’s most effective dropout prevention initiative. With grant support from the Women’s Philanthropy Network, CIS operates in 12 Caddo Parish Schools where students are provided with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life.
