Community Foundation of North Louisiana is excited to announce Lisa O. Childs and Stephen C. Walker as the most recent additions to CFNLA’s seven-member Board of Directors. Childs and Walker are succeeding longtime board members Terry Davis and Thomas Murphy.

Lisa and her husband, Al, and Steve and his wife, Nancy, hold donor-advised funds at CFNLA where they generously support the causes that matter to them, and their families have been Sustaining Members for more than 20 years. Lisa has been a Women’s Philanthropy Network member since its early days and serves on its Grants Committee. Steve has served on the CFNLA Investment Committee since 2019. We are thrilled to have them join our Board of Directors as we continue to strive towards strengthening our community through philanthropy.

The Community Foundation’s Board of Directors is made up of seven members who typically serve 10 years (two five-year terms). Since its inception, nearly 50 individuals have served on the CFNLA Board. This group includes mayors, business owners, judges, educators, and community volunteers.
