CFNLA is thrilled to commemorate the 10th anniversary of North Louisiana’s largest day of giving on May 2, 2023. Since its inception in 2014, Give for Good has inspired generosity from thousands of people like you who have given more than 70,000 donations, generating over $16 million in critical funding for local nonprofits that make our community stronger.
During Give for Good 2022, nearly $2.4 million was raised by 4,684 donors benefiting 214 area nonprofits. Watch the 2022 highlight video to hear testimonies from local nonprofits about Give for Good’s impact on our community.
CFNLA hosts this annual event as part of its mission to increase local philanthropy and enhance the quality of life in North Louisiana. Give for Good is CFNLA’s gift to the nonprofit community and receives zero proceeds from the event. Participating organizations receive the benefit of CFNLA’s extensive Give For Good marketing campaigns, training opportunities to build the organization’s capacity, and an incentive pool of bonus funds through the Lagniappe Fund. Each year, CFNLA contributes $100,000 to the Lagniappe Fund. Since 2014, the Lagniappe Fund has awarded more than $2.2 million in bonus funds and prizes to participating nonprofits.
To increase community-wide engagement during Give for Good, CFNLA has invested in a new giving platform with MightyCause that will allow organizations to secure and track matching gift challenges and offers additional avenues for the business community to give back. In addition to the enhanced platform, Give for Good has a new logo and full set of brand assets for nonprofits, businesses, and donors to share the excitement. With these advancements and your continued support, the 10th anniversary of Give for Good can generate the greatest impact the North Louisiana community has ever seen!
Give for Good would not exist without the help of our generous donors and sponsors. There are several ways to partner with CFNLA for Give for Good 2023. If you are interested in being involved, please contact Amanda Felan at [email protected] or by calling 318-221-0582.
